Orientations for the first period of the 2024 school year will be held on January 16 at 3pm. Three new programs will be starting the 30th of January. Starting from Open Water we have the FIT program. Next is Dive Pro which is an introduction to being a dive professional. Then Divemaster will expand your knowledge and teaching ability, and finally, Scuba Instructor will allow you to open the world of SCUBA to students. Each is an 8 week program requiring 22 hours per week. Visit our Programs page to get more information on these exciting programs. The Instructor Exam for December has been cancelled this year. Our next scheduled Instructor Exam for PADI will be held on March 19-20, 2022. If you have ever wanted to start your career as a Dive Instructor and are currently a Divemaster or Assistant Instructor then don't miss out on our OWSI course session starting in February 2022
We have an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in getting into the technician side of SCUBA. This program starts in June 21st and lasts 18 weeks. There are some heavy perquisite's, must be a Instructor with, Deep Specialty Diver with proof of ten dives deeper than 100ft, Side mount diver, Enriched Air Diver with 10 enriched air dives deeper than 60 ft, and a sign medical statement by a physician in the past 12 months. Orientation will be 7 June.
These three programs (FIT, Dive Pro & Divemaster) will take a non-diver and form you into an experienced dive professional in 12 week of intense training. We will provide you with the knowledge and experience to work at many levels in the dive industry. From retail, tank monkey, Divemaster, to independent instructor of CPR/First aid and skin diving.
Throughout these program, your will gain valuable experience in diving in zero-visibility environments, as well as in law-enforcement evidence recording, recovering, and packaging.
Your knowledge of diving science will be vastly expanded, and your diving abilities greatly improved. This rigorous program of studies provides you with new opportunities in the world of diving and opens previously unreachable dive sites.
This Program will provide you with the knowledge and experience to train divers in the most popular specialties as well as training assistant instructors.
